Who We Are
EYOU is a registered not for profit organization that is youth led and youth serving that seeks to advance quality health and well-being Of young people, adolescent girl and young women.
We are one of the CSO in Eastern Uganda with our head office in Mbale and we work closely with district administrations in different departments to promote and ensure gender equality, economic empowerment, up take of sexual reproductive services and quality living of people.
Our work mainly concentrates on mobilizing young people and enhancing their increased demand, Usage, access and uptake of Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and services, MCH, HIV and Sexual Gender Based Violence services and information.
We work so closely with many communities, schools and youths to address issues of Sexual and Gender Based Violence as well as challenging harmful practices and working towards elimination of child marriages and teenage pregnancies.
Additionally, EYOU embraces and enhances meaningful youth participation by creating
opportunities for young people to meaningfully participate in making informed decisions and in policy making, programs and in Eastern region of Uganda.
